A special Sports Memorabilia Raffle is being sponsored by the Fulton-Montgomery Sports Historical Society in conjunction with the Pete Pihos Tribute Show. The Grand Prize award will be an Official Pete Pihos 1949 Replica Football Helmet that will be personalized by Football Hall of Famer Pete Pihos at his May 23rd appearance at the Twin Cities Sports Card Show in Johnstown. The winner will also get their picture taken that will appear in the Leader-Herald the following week. The helmet is being donated by The Helmet Hut Company and is valued at over $500. Secondary prizes will consist of dozens of high-end autographed items, including items donated by the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles have pledged to donate a Football, Jersey and Helmet signed by various members of their current team. Click here for photo. The drawing will take place at 3pm at the May 23rd Show at the Johnstown Moose Club. Tickets are $3 each or $5 for two.
